From Elections to Go-Kart Racers

Election day, the only day in May wherein I didn't care for. I didn't register nor did I vote since both my Mom and Dad even got tired or didn't bother doing. LOL. Anyway, Monday morning, I didn't sleep from Sunday to Monday since John and I pulled out an all nighter ( again ) over at ZNRO. We played all night and into the morning which ended up with us killing Pharaoh and acquiring the much demanded Bazerald. Wheee! XD

Anyway that afternoon we met up with Gbert, Taks and Ernest over at San Andres. Jello was supposed to come but he opted to go to the Gym instead since he didn't have any cash. Dio was also supposed to come but didn't have "damage" materials aka money to join us, plus he had a guest over at his apartment that day. So after a few intros, we all went into my CRV and went on a little road trip. Originally, we wer supposed to go Go-Karting but alas, Boom na Boom, Speedzone and Good Year wer all closed. SOB! We literally all went to those 3 places, first starting with Boom na Boom near Roxas Blvd., then went to the Fort for Speedzone and then finally to Sucat for Good Year. @_@" They wer all closed! SOB!

After our little road trip, we finally came upon the ever famous Sizzling Steak House and all ordered our meals, ate and went our separate ways. Gbert went straight home while Taks went straight to Basilicar. XD John and I crashed over at San Andres for some much needed sleep, woke up at around 9:30PM, drove home to QC and went straight to bed once again.

The next morning at around 10AM, my Dads computer techie guy finally arrived to check out my PC and its problems. At around 11AM, Ally, her Yaya and I went over to St. Lukes Hospital for my Dentist appointment. We wer done at around 1PM and along the way home, bought some Php 100.00 worth of "Japanese Sweet" Corn. During the past month or 2, my Mom and I both have these insane "corn cravings", which by the way never lets us go a day without eating corn. XD Weird huh? LOL!

Anyway, after Mr. Comp techie guy left with my defective Video Card, at around 3:30PM, I left the house, picked up John over at Park Square, Makati and we both went straight to Boom na Booms Go-Kart track. XD There we waited for Gbert to arrive, which he did 20mins later.

You guys know what happens next right? LOL! Go-Kart racing! Wheeee! While waiting for our turn on the track, we chatted up the counter lady and discovered that the fastest time so far was 39 Seconds! OMG! O_____O" So far, Dio held the record for our group with 42 Seconds under his belt. After discovering that little tidbit, we gravitated over the idea that if one of us would beat the 40 Second mark, then we would treat ourselves to the Track over at Sucat. XD LOL! Anyway, when it was finally our turn, as we boarded our karts, we all agreed to wait over at the track stoplight and counted to 3 before really stepping our pedals. The end result was with me taking 1st Place with 44.97 Seconds on my clock. Gbert with 45.90 Seconds and John with 48.19 Seconds.

As we wer about to leave, the counter lady, a bit impressed with out times, tells us about how our times wer considered cut off times for their weekly Wednesday races. She told us the mechanics and stuff and asked us if we wanted to join. Gbert and I agreed to show up and join the race while John opted to just watch. XD

Heres how it goes. Normally the price would be at Php 250.00 for the Kart, Gear and Track rental fee, plus Php 10.00 for the Bonnet. With that you get 12 Mins on the track and if you manage to go really fast, you could complete at least 13 laps or more. So far, all we do is the normal 13 laps. For tonights race though, the Entrance, Kart and Gear fee would cost Php 600.00. According to the mechanics, there will be 2 Heats. The 1st Heat would have 15 laps while the 2nd heat would have 18 laps. After each Heat, the officials would all get each racers total time and give them their respective points. Same goes for the 2nd heat. The racer with the most points wins the Wednesday Night Race Trophy. XD

Gbert and I decided to join since the price for that night was well worth it. Hell come on?! Php 600.00 for 33 laps?! LOL! We'd be a fool to pass up this chance at a discount! LOL! Anyway, we also invited Dio and some other friends. Hope they could all come. We're also thinking about joining the June 10 race where in the prize would be another trophy + Php 3000.00. We all thought of the same thing when we saw it. *Hmm.. Php 3000.00 get us a total of 12 Go-Kart entries with 144 Mins on the track.* LOL!

Anyway, when we left Boom na Boom, Gbert went straight home to watch HEROs, while John and I went straight to San Andres and slept the night away.

Wheeee! I'm excited about tonights race. Some professional drivers are gonna be there to "make gulo" since only amateurs are allowed in the race. XD I hope I get in the qualifying rounds and join the race. XD Hahaha!~ Good luck to my group tonight. XD

Mothers Day

Whee!! Happy Mothers Day to all the Mommys out there. XD Now for my moment. LOL! Walang kokontra! Hahaha. XD

I'd like to thank all those who greeted me today. Thank you! *hugs* Anyway, my CRV finally arrived this afternoon! Yay! I have my beloved car back. The plates all straight and neat, plus they replaced my scratched bumper! Double yay! Hahaha. XD

Oh yeah, I'd like to congratulate the iAcademy Batch 2007! Nice one guys especially my Kuya Aeo! Magna man! Hahaha! 2 lang sila nag graduate na BSIT-Network Eng! @_@" Congrats again.
